The Creation of a Soul
A new soul has been created into a world where many people walk to an uncertain future. There is a say that new souls will bring good luck to their families. New souls also come to this world with a design frame that contains a soul’s personality, abilities, and responsibilities. This frame will help new souls to survive the type of social class they were born into, and the life they have ahead.
Sur is the new soul from a family in the south of Bogota city where surviving is included in its citizens’ routine. Sur will bring good luck to her family, but she will need more than that to overcome the necessities and adversities that her family is going through. She is not ready for what is coming but hey, who says that falling uncountable times does not make the frame of a soul change?
The Growing of the Soul
Souls are in constant growth. Some souls can get stuck in their way and not see what is outside of the frame that they were born with. Would that be Sur's case? She went through many adversities in childhood that normal souls do not go through. She follows what her frame dictates, no questions asked because that is the only way she has survived until now to situations that a young soul should not worry about. Sur appreciates all of them because her soul has become strong. However, new situations are appearing in her life that her frame has not been able to deal with.
Inner family situations have clouded Sur’s perspective on life. This has allowed outsiders to take advantage of Sur at a young age. The situation is getting out of her hands. Her soul is surrounded by clouds and bad ideas that nobody can reach but only her. To achieve this, she will have to break the frame and see the world with her own eyes and thoughts.
The Soul Breaking Free
Adulthood is a new transformation phase for souls. Some souls keep their frame and life as is expected from it, other souls break free from it and create their own life which Sur is chasing for it. Her past and her frame will always be the foundation and growth of her soul, but it will not dictate her future. She is planning for a big future which leads her to the decision of traveling to another country. A new and different environment for a strong soul with aspirations and dreams. However, souls need to pay a big price and sacrifice a lot to receive the reward of that splendid future.
Many souls are not ready to break themselves to transform into their real form. Sur has broken free from her frame and now she is in the process of breaking her soul little by little until its true form is free. The first pieces hurt like daggers stabbing her soul. She does not know if this is worth it. If all of the sacrifices and nights of crying are worth this future that she promised herself or if in the end, she will dislike her soul's true form.
